I created my own brand of bread characters to express my love for bread, connect with all the bread lovers out there. In Korea, there is a term for a female bread lover and a male bread lover - "Bbang soo nee" and "Bbang dori". With this in mind, I decided to create these characters to express the love for bread, using the Korean word for "bread" - "Bbang" as pun expression in each illustration. For the first edition for my "Bbang - bread" series is on the "Salt Bread" - a specific type of bread that is popular in Korea and Japan.
